We ended up with one great judge from GHW Bush. If Bush had just stuck with Reagan’s policies and took seriously the national debt and trade issues he’d have totally stolen Perot’s thunder. It wasn’t till Newt and his contract with America did the GOP begin to get on a better track with welfare reform and a balance budget amendment.

Yup. But had George HW just kept his word, much of the subsequent tragedies which occurred would not have happened. We would not have queers in the military, we would not have the possibility of a nuclear Iran.

I dare say that before the repercussions are done, we will see much bloodshed just because George HW wanted to be buddies with Democrats. (Who immediately stabbed him in the back.)

When George HW came out with that "Kinder, Gentler" crap, I immediately knew he didn't believe in Reagan's policies or philosophies. He always was a north eastern Limousine Liberal from Connecticut.
