Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made an appeal directly to African-American voters while speaking at a black church in Detroit on Saturday and said they are 'God's greatest gift to our nation.'
The billionaire traveled to the city for a special service at the Great Faith International Ministries church along with Dr. Ben Carson and Omarosa Manigault, his director of African-American Outreach.
Trump vowed that if he was elected president he would bring jobs back to impoverished black communities. His latest trip comes amid criticism that Trump has yet to bring his message into black communities across America, after weeks of trying to appeal to black voters.
During his 20 minute remarks, Trump said: 'For centuries, the African-American church has been the conscience of this country. So true.
'The African-American faith community has been one of God's greatest gifts to America and its people.' Trump also promised that he would provide better education for the children who live within impoverished black neighborhoods.
'But today, I'm here to listen,' he said while reading from a hand-written message. 'I mean it from the heart.' 'I want to help you rebuild Detroit, make the city the economic envy of the world,' he said to applause. 'Things are going to get better.'
He also told the congregation that African-American churches were the foundation of the civil rights movement, and included the Christian faith.

I think it will definitely make a difference. I also think it has Hillary soiling in her Depends. Trump is connecting to voters from all walks of life. He isn’t the usual political hack.

Folks you can rest assured that that the Trump organization has worked very closely with with tons of Black Pastors, Ministers & Evangelicals across the entire country, before moving forward, politically into the overall Black community. This was just not a one visit, one remark move. Many more will follow and, you can bet your last dollar that Donald Trump will shortly put forth a major plan of pro-active, action to move forward with positive workable solutions to the inner city poverty plight of so many Black Americans. The Democrat Party has thrown African-Americans, under the bus...one too many times!!! The times....they are a changing!!! Go Donald J. Trump....Make America great again, for all Americans!!!

Obama thinks he is the most knowledgeable person in any room he walks in to. He is the most arrogant president ever.
Yep, he did rustle some sheets. Glad he wasn’t reading a Tele Prompter. He made some of the cuff remarks. I was impressed. Hope was being birthed inside that this guy might actually pull some votes from the hood of Detroit and start the process of rebuilding their city.

Last 5 minutes of the Twitter video was so moving—I was brought to tears. Pastor gave Trump a prayer shawl from Israel that he had prayed and fasted over. Just amazing—whole speech is nice, but the very last part was truly amazing!

The rebuilding already has started. So much so, that the usual suspects are beginning to complain about “gentrification.”
Now Trump needs to go to Mexican American communities and explain LaRaza and the other self serving leftist orgs. that are turning Mexican illegal and legal immigrants into a new plantation population. Bilinqual education. Press2. Prize fighting. Etc and etc.
Then on to the Catholic community and explain entire teaching of Church on legal and illegal immigratio and big Soros money buying Bishops and etc. etc.

I agree. If you remember early in his campaign, there were pastors who were ready to endorse him, but they seemed to be called off by democrats. He obviously still kept working with them, and now we are going to see some of that come out into public view.
Hint: Trump will easily carry Florida....why? He will get substantial Cuban-American (South Florida) & Puerto Rican (I-4 Corridor) votes Miami-Dade and the I-4 corridor, Rubio won both these counties. Example: The Florida primary vote reveals the winning power of Republicans across the entire state. Marco Rubio got 465,000 votes more then his Democrat opponent, Patrick Murphy, in the primary got. Taking all the votes cast for both Republican & Democrat candidates in the Florida primary....Republicans got 1,428,000 votes and Democrats totaled out at 1,125,000 votes...which gives the Republicans a victory margin of 302,000 votes statewide total. Folks...you can bank on DJT & Rubio winning Florida with ease!!! This game is over. Same trend in Texas, Ohio & Pennsylvania!!!
