Loved those bright red fragrant coffee grinders at the end of the cashier lanes. Formative years, indeed!

My Gramma Bertha introduced our family to 8-O’Clock in the late 60’s. Great aroma while brewing!

I have yet to find ^acceptable^ K-Cup representations for my Keurig. Yes, they exist but they aren’t the same from my past. Too sad.

The only reason I loved going to the A & P was to stand by the cashiers and smell the fresh-ground coffee.

Telling younger people about that (coffee grinders at the end of every check-out aisle...) results in a head-tilt, "wha?" reaction. A little like describing decades of using a rotary phone with no such thing as a display, caller ID, nor even voice mail, nor answering machine. They marvel at our survival abilities...!
