The Left hates Donald Trump, but nothing has inspired more invective than his outreach to the black community. It’s like he has barged into an exclusive club wearing the wrong color shoes.
In a recent column in The New York Times, Charles Blow sounds positively unhinged by Trump’s overture to African-Americans, writing a hate-filled screed that calls the GOP candidate a bigot, a reprobate, and a charlatan whose soul is “dark” and who is “a prime example of the worst of humanity.” And that’s just in the opening paragraphs.

Blow is not alone. CBS cut off the video feed of Trump being warmly received by congregants at a black church in Detroit with on-camera voices suggesting censorship. A Huffington Post attendee wrote a balanced piece noting that Trump had impressed some (but not all) churchgoers; the editors were so alarmed they added this postscript:

Others have piled on as well, charging that Trump’s appearances before black audiences are a con, a thinly-disguised effort to appeal to more moderate white voters. In other words, they claim he’s going to black churches to speak to white voters.
The irony is, of course, that Trump was excoriated by many of the same voices for not talking to blacks. It appears he can’t win. Or, maybe the possibility that he could win is driving critics mad. Recent polls show the race tightening as more voters question Hillary Clinton’s honesty...

Don’t you hate it when spellcheck doesn’t pick up these things?
The real reason is that the Lefties’ perennial tactic of alienating Blacks and Republicans hasn’t been working this time around - largely because obama made all sorts of promises to American Blacks and never kept any of ‘em.
So now there seem to be sufficient Blacks with good sense available to note that the corruption represented by hillary will destroy America - and that includes Blacks.
Trump has arrived over the target.

I must not be a “moderate” white voter because I don’t understand how Trump’s visits to black churches are supposed to make him more appealing to me.
My simple mind thought Trump was trying to appeal to black people who believe the Democrats have their best interests covered.

It's the terrible behavior all of Stalin and Hitler and Mao's victims did that got them murdered. Nowadays, it's the terrible behavior of Trump supporters, in their very choice to support Trump at all in any way or even listen to him out know how to spell his name, that literally forces the Left to send thugs to attack them and try to kill them.
That was the reason I believe.
So trying to appeal to black voters helps Trump with white voters.
Hmm, I thought Trump’s base was the KKK. Wouldn’t they be offended by Trump’s outreach to black voters?
When he talks to white audiences about black issues he gets criticized for addressing “the wrong audience”.
When he talks to a black audience about black issues he gets criticized for “being a con”.
Sure seems like they’re just scared that a republican is talking about “black issues”. I know I’d be scared if I was in their shoes - blacks aren’t as stupid as Democrats say they are.
You probably don’t believe Trump is a racist or a bigot either. But they are out there for sure.

Here’s the crux of the matter! Any who actually do some serious thinking about their lifelong predicament and actually vote for Trump will be a plus. And I can tell you that my AA friends are all voting for Trump, and for most it will be the first time that they didn’t vote RAT.
Hillary and Bill have done nothing for the past decades to promote that opportunity for those they wish to exploit and use for votes.
I remember that brave and gracious lady and legislator from Wisconsin, Polly Williams, who fought the political establishment on that issue.
As quoted in this article about her life at her death in 2014, the writer observes, "During the Clinton years, she was known to sum up her position on school choice with a sharp witticism: 'The president shouldn’t be the only person who lives in public housing who gets to send his kids to private schools.'"
Throughout the years, and to this day, has the Clinton position changed?
Once, at a "school choice" meeting during the Reagan years, when privately discussing the powerful teachers' unions who control the Democrat Party and Clinton positions on education, Polly said to me, "They're always talking about the lack of 'parental involvement," but they just want parental involvement when they want money. What they don't want is real parental involvement in choosing the schools or in parents' making decisions about how their children are taught in order to improve those children's lives."
Polly Williams must look down with pleasure to see a major candidate for President talking about the cause for which she dedicated so many years of her life.
Quoting again from the article: "'My fight is for our, for my, black children — to be able to access this system and get the best that this system offers,' Williams said, explaining her advocacy of vouchers."
