Let me tell everyone a story...about what happened to a Japanese Commando force that tried to take over Kona Island in Hawaii at the start of WWII.
Waiting for the Japanese invaders on the beach of Kona was armed militia. They had hunting rifles, 22s, pistols and revolvers but no military firearms. Just civilians defending their island home.
Not one Japanese soldier made it ashore while alive. The waves were blood red. As the saying went at the time, there was a gun behind every blade of grass in the USA. Today there are three, four, or more waiting for the invaders.

Yet the invasion is taking place without a single shot being fired. I guess we’ll have to be up to our eyeballs in it before anybody does anything to get things rolling. Lamp post, piano wire. Just saying.
