Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton delivered a keynote speech at the National Baptist Convention Thursday night, but photos show that many people failed to show up.

Prior to the speech, workers moved in wall partitions in the giant venue, according to tweets from several reporters who were there.

Even during the speech, however, many of the chairs at the venue were not filled.

"...She should have her rallies in her broom closet where her handlers, puppet masters, secret service, and medical staff could create an overflowing crowd..."

Not to mention she would then be very close to her completely unsecured server with crucial national secrets that she could wipe, like with a cloth.

Looks pretty full to me....

I think you bought into the propaganda. They moved in the partitions to make a room that would have seated about 5,000 to downsize the space to a room that would seat about 3,000.

And many of those seats were empty.

I would expect many of the attendees were told their appearance was mandatory, like those in white, possible chior group. So many hugging those back corners..

They never showed more than the first 12 rows of that room. There are shots taken from the front of the room looking out, that show the room had easily 50 rows of seats. It was reported elsewhere that they closed off about 2/3 of the seats to make sure the seats looked filled.

"...I had the news on as background noise and FNC said Trump can forget about PA and NC."

You're watching a different Fox News than I am;
this morning they were showing results of 2 polls, Quinnipiac and one other that clearly showed Trump is competitive or in a dead-heat with Hillary in several battleground states, with one poll showing him leading in NC.

Once they pulled the walls in on the sides, and particularly pulling the wall from the back about 1/2 to 2/3 forward, they could fill up the few hundred who came.

But that hall is capable of holding thousands...and there were not anything like that number there.

Careful camera composition. If you notice, they're only showing the people who are packed into the front 1/3 of the seating area. They do not show the full hall, which is quite deep and wide.

See: Photos: Embarrassing Turnout For Hillary Clinton Keynote Speech At Baptist Convention

At first, the entire hall was open. Then, they closed the partition doors to the back-half of the hall to force everyone into the front. Even then, many of the seats were empty during her speech.

Ha..I didn’t hear/see what you did. I get so where I turn it off quickly. I do think Fox & Friends is more pro-Trump and the rest of the day is anti until Hannity comes on.

I think that we are going to see a lot of the general election truisms being bent or broken. You know, ones like no one has won that was not leading as of Labor Day and the like. From my viewpoint, I think that the 'professional' politicians, campaigners and pollsters are running very scared. While we have not had the major-league failures here, the ones from Great Britain (GB), an equally tech-advantaged nation do present frightening possibilities, especially in a vote of 'INS' vs 'OUTS'.

GB polling lost the last two major events, the Scottish Independence and the BREXIT elections and the autopsy for each indicated that the politicos failed to convince and the pollsters failed to make proper adjustments. The adjustment factor has always been key for polling and has an aspect of black magic in its use.

Now we have Hillary and a lot of hot air from the 'professionals' but will it show up on Election Day? The desire in the Dem Camp is to ignore the enthusiasm gap because it will be made up for in the coming wall-to-will campaign ads, the get-out-the-vote ground game and the usual support groups of the left (unions, environmentalists, teachers, statists, welfare, academia, victims and lawyers!)

Against that, Trump has enthusiasm, energy, quick-wits, non-establishment GOP & conservatives and the non-statists! Who will show up the most between now and November is a real race!
