I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but I'd bet you'd enjoy the class, especially if you take it with someone you know, and I promise you'll learn some things you didn't know.

Finally you get to shoot your weapon. That's a twofer. The biggest hassle is the documentation and of course the cost, which might seem like cheap insurance later, for one: not having to worry so much about carrying you weapon, and two: if you ever have to use it.
