Vitals.com reviews of Hillary's physician, Lisa Bardack, aka "The Ice Queen"

How important is bedside manner?
Jul 30th, 2009

She is very cold and impersonal. She totally lacks compassion and when she is wrong about something, will never admit it. I referred people to her beause she is a decent diagnostician but no one would go back. She is called the ice queen and with good reason. she doesn't take time with her patients. There is NO warmth.

Dr. Bardack always appears to be impatient, cold, even sarcastic. I have never seen her smile or express any interest in anything other than basic diagnostic questions. If she does not like people, she ought to use her reportedly substantial skills in pathology or another medical area that does not require patient interaction.

Did a physician announce the diagnosis of “pneumonia” or did a Clinton staffer make the claim?

As a pathologist I can tell you that my specialty requires a lot more people skills than this implies. Cold, impersonal types don't tend to rise very high in pathology.

She sounds like she’d be a very good coroner and perhaps the perfect choice for Hillary’s care.

They do make good surgeons.

Then there's this from ratemds.com

Very umpleasant and certainly not helpful. Could not diagnose the problem. Always in a big hurry to get away. I found a different doctor as soon as possible.

It was Dr. Bardack who made the announcement, but note the typical Clintonian phrasing: “On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia.” Note the passive voice and the failure to mention who actually made the diagnosis, not to mention how it was made and what type of pneumonia.

I wouldn’t want her to perform surgery on me. A knife in the hands of an ice queen....

That’s why I decided to post this, the “Ice Queen” line was too good, and with it dated so long ago I thought it unlikely that it was posted to spite Hillary.

Hillary’s a rich criminal. Why would she pick someone like that when she can afford anybody?

Maybe there is some connection that makes this doctor toe the Clinton party line.

Some doctors cannot be bought off. Others can be bought off quite easily. Perhaps this Dr. Bardack is in the latter category.

Perfect, she needs a wealthy benefactor like Shrillary which make the Dr. A. Useful idiot.

Maybe radiology, since they earn an excellent income for people who spend their days in a dark room talking to themselves. (Old joke.)

Does seem an excellent match between doctor and patient.
