GOP gains ground on Dems in voter registration in key states (AP)

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans have gained ground on Democrats in registering voters in three battleground states and kept their razor-thin advantage in Iowa — encouraging news for Donald Trump eight weeks before Election Day.

Republicans added hundreds of thousands of voters to the rolls since 2012 in states including Florida and Arizona, and narrowed the gap in North Carolina, according to data compiled by The Associated Press. In Iowa, Republicans prevented Democrats from surpassing them, aided by a court ruling upholding a ban on voting by ex-felons, who often register as Democrats.

As Election Day approaches, voter registration drives are in full swing.

Hillary Clinton's campaign is staging registration rallies and appealing in particular to non-whites and young people, who are more likely to vote early — if they vote at all. Trump is relying mostly on a base of white voters, urging supporters to be vigilant for voter fraud and "rigging."

What are they doing with PA and Michigan? Those are the keys to winning it all.

In Cuyahoga County, OH. indies lost ground, but as we learned in 2012, OH is special: if you don’t vote in the primary, you are reverted back to independent. So in 2012 we found that all the early voting Is we’re really Ds.

Good news? R gains in Cuyahoga + D losses MINUS I gains are 97,000 !
If ALL I gains are really I, not D reversions, it’s 140,000+.

So far, no numbers on the other (redder) OH counties.

What you and I have been saying. Course, AP in desperate spin mode but if Minion won NC, no way Cankles wins with 25% fewer voters. IA safe.

The FL numbers have to be crushing for Ds because Minion lost by only 74,000 and we already have in five blue counties R net gains of over 26,000-—forget the big gains in red counties. I think FL is safe based on this.

Some good info, but chunks of AP’s claims in this article are complete lies.

In VA, we have +180,000 voter gain since 2012 I believe, but no breakdown by party from what I remember.

IA is incorrect. ACTIVE Iowa registered voters: GOP has 34,500 voter edge. If you include INACTIVE plus ACTIVE, then that edge goes down to what AP wrote. AP didn’t understand that. Inactive voters cannot vote a regular ballot only provisional.

I recall your numbers! In fact, in 2012 you said the GOP had a 18k advantage, but the democrap party made up those registrations (by 1,500) within the last month.

Yes. Only thing annoying about IA is I cannot check mid month registrations like I can in FL. Ugh. I need to know now.

Hillary is soooo widely despised by street-level people, why the progressive elite class ever allowed her to run can only be a function of the huge bribery machine the Clintons put together.......

.....Independents & non-voters will climb over a mountain of glass to vote against her.

Hillary was clearly chosen by the Bilderberg globalists long before the election cycle. Political intimidation, MSM propaganda, & world class bribery were just part of the effort to permanently alter the United States......Jeb Bush was to be the RINO faux opponent......we the people have risen up to defend our Republic.

Short of a massive disruption (IE Hillary being replaced) this race is effectively lost for the D’s...

OH, FL and NC are locked at in... MN District 2 is locked, Another few days and a few more of the Rust Belt states, and NE states will start to show they are going to go Trump... CO may even start to show it as well...

There is no path to 270 for Hillary, never was.. and this was going to happen before her deplorables video or her collapse.... With those two things in the mix... Trumps up over 300 EC votes by the end of the month.
