Agreed. Outside of a severe thunderstorm warning, a few times for Amber Alerts. Usually not for tracking down scumbag terrorists.
I’ve lived in NYC for ten years, and have NEVER got the extreme alert. Will be on the lookout for sure.
This type of alert tells me this is much more than a BOLO.
