Maybe Cruz should just support Trump. Obviously he has a lot in common with him. But he’s too much of a pajama boy special snowflake. We should send him a couple emotional medkits.

Sen. Ted Cruz Proposes to 'Stop the Flow of Refugees'

Well then Ted, how about endorsing, and working for, the candidate who has already made that a key part of his platform?

Oops, sorry Ted. Better not do that. It might lessen your own chances of becoming president. Because if Trump wins in 2016, you'll have to wait eight long years to try again for the White House.

Better that you endorse no one in 2016. After all, that's what Quislings do. They put their own careers first. The nation does not matter.

How about starting out by acting like a man with integrity for a change, Turd Cruz?

Ted Cruz...I was previously a fan...a long, long, long time ago.
You can start by enthusiastically endorsing Donald Trump to be our next POTUS.
Perhaps we will then very briefly listen to what you have to say.

Ted, Ted, Ted. It’s not Trump’s fault you were born in Canada. So, let’s try again:
“We must start by
—putting our full support behind our nominee, Donald J. Trump—
and we must fully support our law enforcement community.”

now, was that so hard?

Lyn’ Ted is history. He failed at everything he attempted in the Senate. Utter failure. And he is traitor and liar to the party. He’ll kill this by his association.

Blah, blah, blah.

Where’s the endorsement you pledged in writing, to bestow upon the Republican nominee, you jerk?

Jumping on the red meat bandwagon won’t cut it, Ted.

It is remarkable that a forum which banishes and censors contributors with years of tempered conservative credentials for "anti-Trumpism" because it is feared that insufficient boosterism for Trump might lead to his defeat, tolerates even nurtures an atmosphere of "anti-cruizism" despite the obvious potential that offending the supporters of the runner-up candidate might also lead to Trump's defeat.

That Ted Cruz haters would prefer to reinforce one another in their triumphalism rather than unite the party against Hillary Clinton at a time when the default argument for Donald Trump is that he is not Hillary Clinton, reveals so much about them.

The debate is but days away and the election but weeks away but our zotting vigilantes are ravenously bent on breaking china rather than building a winning coalition. They would rather indulge their feelings of self-righteousness than accept that Cruz is one with them on this issue and offer that unity up to the world as evidence that Trump is right. Cruz is explicitly agreeing with Trump's position but that is as nothing because these purblind haters would rather Ted Cruz be wrong than Donald Trump be right -or victorious.

All this despite the explicit adjuration of Jim Robinson to refrain from this very thing so that the party might be drawn together.

There will be time enough after the election for zot-thirsty anti-globalists to a assail Ted Cruz and his conservative supporters but it will occur at a time when Ted Cruz and his supporters will presumably be free of censorship on this forum and able to fight back.
