The fact of the case was that this mutant was on probation for a number of crimes, including drug possession and bank fraud. Part of the fraud case against him was based on his role in opening multiple phony bank accounts using the Social Security numbers of other people.
He was jailed not because of the stupid video, but because his role in creating and uploading that video was in direct violation of his probation (he wasn't allowed to access the internet without authorization from his probation officer, for example).

I would suggest to you that he was a petty criminal that villainized by Clinton, Obama and the media to the point where people such as yourself want to throw him in a “woodchipper”. They picked him because he was a good scapegoat. They are not stupid, but you are overreacting because you have been influenced by the left.
