(REUTERS) One would expect voters from the heavily Democratic Brooklyn neighborhood of Cobble Hill to pick presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 general election. Just don’t expect them to advertise it.
Like lawns and windowsills in liberal pockets across the country, much of the neighborhood is bereft of pro-Clinton signage in the final weeks before the election. It’s a stark contrast to the 2012 and 2008 campaigns, when President Barack Obama whipped up a frenzy of support from Democrats and his signature “Hope” and “Forward” signs were ubiquitous.
The scarcity of lawn and window signs is an indication of the Democratic nominee’s struggle to generate enthusiasm among left-leaning voters, a challenge that’s borne out in polling data, and could potentially haunt her if voters fail to turn out on election day.
Clinton leads Republican challenger Donald Trump by four percentage points among likely voters, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll released Friday.
But Americans of all political stripes have been more critical of Clinton than they were of Obama when he was running for his second term four years ago, according to the daily tracking poll.

I always thought the “GROUND GAME” would have gotten signs out to every place they could think of. So either there are no signs, or there is no ground game, or God doesn’t make little green apples any more. (Or it doesn’t rain in Minneapolis, and so on...)
Hillary is so popular, people are embarrassed about supporting her.
And liberals say Americans fear Trump. Yeah, sure.
All one has to do is look up “Crown Heights Riot” to understand why the Jews in Brooklyn would prefer a law-and-order president. They haven’t been hit, yet, on this round of rioting, but they know it’s just a matter of time.
The total loss of civil authority during those 3 days by their ‘diversity’ mayor is not something that’s forgotten quickly.

I remember the Crown Heights riot, David Dinkins said they were merely VENTING. And when Yankel Rosenbaum got stabbed he and his equally inept police commissioner Out of Town Brown denied it was a hate crime in spite of eyewitness accounts of shouts of KILL THE JEW. It was a major factor in Rudy Guliani getting elected mayor.
Any kind of lousy weather in the North East 11/8 would kill her turnout.

Those who are in these drug infested neighborhoods are victims of their own who have criminal operations and control of the streets, they too want to see an end.
I gotta tell ya Captain, I wake up and turn it on FoxNews and see Clinton leading in various polls though not by much and I think what if she really won this thing? I pray once again for that not to happen along with the fact that my day is ruined. I’m afraid of rigging and corruption in voting like I have never been afraid before. I pray God will answer prayers to not let this happen.........

I think there was a bit of ground game here in upstate NY right after 9/11. Hill/kaine signs were placed on State property. I was tempted to remove them or place a hill for prison sign underneath them. A few days later when I drove by, all those signs were replaced with Zephyr Teachout signs. To this day, those signs remain. Not a single hill sign to be seen. The countryside is beautiful again :)

I still say, as I have for a while, that Trump has an actual shot at NY....I don’t believe they are polling it near enough to make the foregone conclusions that they have and I think he has support from those who are afraid to speak for fear of being seen as Politically incorrect.
I can’t imagine any decent, self-respecting individual voting for Hillary.
Drove through “Kennedy Country,” a term coined by Mitt Romney in his 1994 Senate bid referring to Dorchester, on Saturday. Drove for two miles and saw only one pro Hillary sign. Saw none for Trump. Tells me Democrats are not inspired in this election cycle. If they do vote, they will likely pull the Democrat lever out of force of habit.

We should get Hillary signs (with the H and arrow), put the word HOSPITAL at the bottom and post them.
