I did a few parades at Disney World in the '80s. We were told there would be absolutely NO photography in the backstage area, and NO photographing performers out of costume.

I never had a steady Disney gig, or cruise ship gig, but I've heard plenty of horror stories from other musicians about both.

Roger that. Our gig was for an NCAA/Cingular One/ABC Sports Football event/awards show so we weren’t hired by Disney but the event was at Disney back lot at one of the sound stages. I was amazed at how quickly the riggers turned it from a banquet room set up back to an empty sound stage after the gig. We were trapped due to the fireworks show and safety walk down afterwards. Probably a half an hour to 45 minutes-——BOOM! All done. We had brought our PA stuff and when we unloaded it they said no need, they would take care of the sound. They did a nice job. Just looked at the only pic that was taken and it was in 2004.
