To “progressives” words do not mean things. They are just tools to be used to obtain power. To them, there is no right, no wrong. There is only power.
For “progressives” racism is simply a way to activate their base. It no longer has any reality other than as a way to justify whatever they want to do. It is just a meaningless slogan.
“Racist” is just a form for “class enemy” or “capitalist running dog”.
It just means “People who we lable with this term are not human and may be destroyed without repercussions.”
