FBI files reveal missing email 'boxes' in Clinton case, allegations of evidence tampering

Buried in the 189 pages of heavily redacted FBI witness interviews from the Hillary Clinton email investigation are details of yet another mystery -- about two missing “bankers boxes” filled with the former secretary of state’s emails.

The interviews released earlier this month, known as 302s, also reveal the serious allegation that senior State Department official Patrick Kennedy applied pressure to subordinates to change the classified email codes so they would be shielded from Congress and the public.

The details about the boxes are contained in five pages of the FBI file – with a staggering 111 redactions – that summarize the statements of a State Department witness who worked in the “Office of Information Programs and Services (IPS)." The employee told the FBI that, “Initially, IPS officials were told there were 14 bankers boxes of former Secretary of State Hillary CLINTON’s emails at CLINTON’s Friendship Heights office.” Friendship Heights is a neighborhood that straddles the Northwest neighborhood of the District of Columbia and Maryland.

The State Department witness further explained to the FBI that “on or about December 5, 2014, IPS personnel picked up only 12 bankers boxes of CLINTON’s emails from Williams & Connolly.”

The officials were not sure if the boxes “were consolidated or what could have happened to the two other boxes. “

“...fired all the lawyers at the FBI”

I thought it was all U.S. Attorneys.

Perhaps if the whole truth of the Hillary e-mails came to light, we'd see a massive amount of politicians and high-level bureaucrats implicated in the Clinton Foundation's Pay-to-play, money-for-influence, and other "services" -- perhaps enough to "take out the whole government" -- the question then becomes this: do we hate corruption enough to punish the guilty, or are we so afraid of instability/uncertainty so as to turn a blind eye to it?

It reminds me of a novel I read where the main character is asked this:
Is it better that the guilty should die, or that the innocent should live?

When Bill Clinton got to the WH, he fired all the lawyers at the FBI;

I don't remember any fbi lawyers fired. Those were US attorneys.

FR thread from 2007 =>

All the huffing and puffing over the Bush Administration's firing of eight U.S. Attorneys might be tempered by an awareness that Bush's predecessor, President Bill Clinton, summarily fired all 93 U.S. Attorneys on a single day, March 23, 1993.

I think the point was that Clinton fired US DOJ attys, not FBI attys.

You may be right; I just remembered he fired a lot of people.

I’m too tired to argue .. and it really isn’t that important to me.

These people around the Clintons are not being bribed!
No one gets into a relationship of any kind with the Clintons unless they are known in advance to be black mailable chargeable convictable and guilty of serious felonies.
They are being governed by the carrot and the stick, not the carrot or the stick. This is so that with every new betrayal of the American trust they accrue more black marks in their felony column, useful for future blackmail plus they receive illegal financial rewards, which are also felonious in nature. This makes them simultaneously the recipients of rewards and more potential future black marks by which they will forever be controlled. This is a clear demonstration of the mystery of iniquity at work.
To the Clinton criminals it’s just a beautiful thing!

One for commoners who must obey the law, ANOTHER for powerful people who needn't.

In the context of the theory of Marxist revolutionary struggle, vanguardism is a strategy whereby the most class-conscious and politically advanced sections of the proletariat or working class, described as therevolutionary vanguard, form organizations in order to draw larger sections of the working class towards revolutionary politics and serve as manifestations of proletarian political power against its class enemies.
