RNC leaders were telling members that after the tape leaked that Trump would drop out so they all needed to unendorse him first
So now its chaos, members were told Trump was dropping and Pence was taking over so that's why so many publicly attacked Trump
But now Trump is staying in, and after his strong debate performance and solid support levels they are worried they just screwed themselves
The establishment plan was Pence would take the top of the ticket, lose, and then run Ryan-Rubio 2020. But Trump thwarted the coup attempt

I watched the entire sordid effort play out in front of my eyes and I’m still in shock at those fools.
There is nothing Trump could do ever to make me drop my support. NOTHING. EVER.

Look at the way Utah is going. Romney wants Romney. If McMullin wins Utah, his electors will vote Romney. Several #NeverTrump GOP electors will vote Romney also. If the election goes to the House, Bishop Romney will win there.

Excellent to hear about the LA Times poll. That makes me feel better. We all hope that the polls showing Hillary is ahead are wrong.
Sad to say, today’s LA Times / USC poll has the witch UP.
Pickles Clinton is at 44.4, Trump is at 44.0.
She leads by four tenths of a point.
I’m not sure if this poll measures the full impact of last Sunday’s debate, but this poll should drift back towards Trump in the days to come and, especially, after the next debate, one week from tonight in Las Vegas.
