Poll: 41 percent of voters think election could be 'stolen' from Trump

More than four-in-one of American voters think the election could be "stolen" from Donald Trump due to voter fraud, a poll released Monday shows.

The Politico/Morning Consult Poll finds that 41 percent of voters think widespread voter fraud could cause the GOP presidential nominee to lose the election.

Amid Trump's increased warnings about a "rigged election," 73 percent of Republicans think the election could be stolen from him, compared to 17 percent of Democrats.

Over the past week, Trump has casted doubt on the American electoral system, saying he believes the results will be "rigged" at many polling places.

"The election is absolutely being rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary - but also at many polling places - SAD," Trump wrote on Twitter Sunday.

Trump has also encouraged supporters to keep an eye on voting locations to prevent fraud, which some say is a ploy to intimidate voters.

Considering that the MSM has already distorted things by dreaming up Trump scandals and not reporting on Hillary's corruption and health ... then, throw in voting by illegals, multiple voting, proxy voting, voting by dead people, voter intimidation, and the ease by which voting machines can be hacked ... and I'd say this election is already been rigged!

Indeed, I put the likelyhood of a Trump loss due to voter fraud right up there with the likelyhood of death and/or taxes.

Worse, we believe that the Democrats would have absolutely no compunctions against doing so to remain in power.

It is very hard to deal openly with those whom you believe would steal what you hold dear given the slightest opportunity.

Trump threw a jab with "rigged election" comment. Instead of being laughed out, it is taken seriously by both friends and foes. Libs start to fear that the stigma of rigged election would be around long after the election is over even if the crooked one wins. It could poison her presidency before it even begins.

This time around, it is increasingly clear that things won't be over after stealing the election.

In Ohio, you have Kasich not honoring the pledge, Senator Portman going over to the dark side when he thought the coup was successful, and a state RNC chair who is stifling grassroots campaigning.

I did poll-working training. The system is incredibly complex. The complexity is increased with early voting at the county headquarters, vote-by-mail, provisional ballots on election day, and during election day public notice of who has and hasn't voted.

I can't imagine how anyone can say that the system is infallible. The greater the complexity, the greater the chance for a breakdown.

Trump camp continues assault on democracy, as Rudy Giuliani maintains he'd "have to be a moron" to say election wasn't rigged

At least a growing number of people are aware of the possibility of it. Unlike the last two elections I think the Dems are gonna have to steal even more votes this time to make up for the lack of enthusiasm for Hillary.

This is HUGE. Read and see how Clinton Camp stole the primary, and how they’ll steal the election.

Well, it's not like there hasn't been a LONG history of vote fraud, and even some already uncovered in this election, orchestrated by the dems and Madam Benghazi.

Motor voter laws have given every illegal the “right” to vote if they simply stated that they were American citizens when they signed up, no checking was ever done. There was a report after the last election that a number of close contests went to the dems because of illegal voting. With 20+ million of them it looks bad. I would like to see someone with media savvy put ads on Spanish TV/radio that stated that non-citizens voting is fraud with fines up to $10,000 and up to 3 yrs. in jail & deportation. That might convince many of them to stay home. What else can you do when no one is checking to see if they are citizens or not.

Let us NOT forget that the Democrats to whom you refer are being aided and abetted by the traitorous, “deplorable and irredeemable” Republican elites who comprise the #NEVERTRUMP movement - the same ones who haven’t uttered a syllable about all of the collusion and corruption that surrounds the Clinton Crime Family.

Aware, yes. It’s important to note, however, that almost none of our elected officials are doing a damned thing about it.

The Democrat DOJ works hard to insure that no one can check on voter fraud.

Well, if past performance is any indication, Hillary Democrats will try to steal the election.
After all, they stole it from Mad Uncle Bernie.

Well, duh....despite lying Hillary & lying Obama claiming its Russia, the Dems have long been the ones doing vote fraud...why do they fight tooth and nail against having to show id to vote, but they are just fine with having to prove id for just about everything else? Why do they flood the US with illegals? Think they really care about them as people? Nope, just changing the demographic to grow the gimmiedats who are the Dem voters. etc.

Think of Hillary who is lying about any and all to get elected...other Countries are not fooled into thinking she would not lie about any and all as Prez....

...Hillary wins, the USA will descend into a mix of Sweden and Venezuela.
