Actually, there is a way to make sense of that.

In competitive states, both sides of the isle will be engaged, but in non-competitive states, like Texas where I live, you are only hearing one side, Clinton's.

The numbers for the battlegrounds may be decent, by the non-competitive, are being skewed by Hillary's onslaught of national ads.
