LEXANDRIA - Virginians who couldn’t register to vote because a state website crashed were given one more chance to sign up Thursday after a federal judge ordered the state to reopen the voter registration period until midnight Friday.
Why not just shut down all state legislatures and judiciaries and let the federal courts run the whole show - like they’re doing now?!!!!
I agree, nothing wrong with this.
Reasonable or not (debatable), does the Federal Government have the Constitutional authority to dictate to the states how or when to conduct voter registrations? IMO, no.
Maybe we could just forget all about elections and let judges decide everything for us. It would take less time, cost a lot less, and get exactly the same bad results in the end.
We surrendered a whole lot of States Rights authority with the Voting Rights Act.

It does amaze me how NO government at any level can build a friggin’ website that works.
We will have to see what these crooks do.
Federal judges—because we can’t have states trying to exercise any sovereignty greater than the design of their own license plates.
I wonder if they were trying to stop new voters for Trump from being registered.

This cycle, it may backfire. At a minimum, it is a double edged sword with independents and the disaffected coming in to burn down the castle with the overlords inside.
