Agreed. The government needs to get out of managing the economy, period. Freedom and capitalism works. Bureaucrats and politicians directing the economy with decrees from their ivory towers does not.

Not sure what he’s saying....but I trust him.

A coupe decades ago, AT&T and some other monopolies were forcibly broken up to keep telecommunications companies from becoming too powerful - Trump rightly says that they will squash Democracy when they monopolize what is shown to the public and get to propagandize everything they touch.

Theoretically, a President could direct his FTC or SEC to nix the deal. However, it might not withstand a court challenge (that few companies are willing to undertake). Don’t get me started on the EO-thing . . . .
