HOW USELESS IS THE UNITED NATIONS?

Signing of the United Nations charter

The United Nations officially began Oct. 24, 1945. Its name coined by President Franklin Roosevelt. The United Nations was created to prevent future wars.

Unfortunately, there have been nearly 150 wars with over 100 million casualties from the day the United Nations’ charter was drafted in the Garden Room of San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel:

5 in Central Asia 11 in South Asia 20 in Southeast Asia 13 in Eastern Europe 23 in the Middle East 25 in Latin & South America 50 in Africa

The Secretary-General at the United Nations Charter Conference in 1945 was Alger Hiss. Alger Hiss was present at the Yalta Conference. Feb. 4-11, 1945, where a large portion of Europe was put under the control of the Soviet Union. Alger Hiss was later accused and convicted of being a Communist agent in publicized 1948 trial.

The person who accused Alger Hiss was a former Soviet spy Whittaker Chambers. Soviet spy Whittaker Chambers had been senior editor of Time magazine before defecting to the United States.

After Whittaker Chambers died, President Ronald Reagan awarded him the Medal of Freedom, March 26, 1984, stating: “At a critical moment in our Nation’s history, Whittaker Chambers stood alone against the brooding terrors of our age. … He became the focus of a momentous controversy in American history that symbolized our century’s epic struggle between freedom and totalitarianism, a controversy in which the solitary figure of Whittaker Chambers personified the mystery of human redemption in the face of evil and suffering.”

All of the afore mentioned facts justify getting rid of the U.N.

How do you account for the fact that the United Nations Charter follows the format of the Russian (USSR) Constitution of 1936 rather than the format of the (Covenant of the) League of Nations? Would you feel there was any significance in the fact that the general secretary for the organization which drew up the charter was Alger Hiss? …

The Naked Communist, Chapter 8
This was always the Trojan horse on US soil after WWII.

And frankly, the League of Nations, its predecessor, did much of the same, promoting weakness and “pacifism” between the wars. We have Woodrow Wilson to thank for that, who exhibited some very interesting thinking in 1887:
Corporations grow on every hand, and on every hand not only swallow and overawe individuals but also compete with governments. The contest is no longer between government and individuals; it is now between government and dangerous combinations and individuals. Here is a monstrously changed aspect of the social world. In face of such circumstances, must not government lay aside all timid scruple and boldly make itself an agency for social reform as well as for political control? “Yes,” says the democrat, “perhaps it must.” …
That is the kind of thinking behind such “international” and “supra-national” organizations.

That pic ran on the inside back cover of LIFE magazine when the Leftist media (yes it was way Left back then too) was making the UN out to be something Holy.

Alger Hiss delivered the parachute-equipped copy of the UN charter,

Your post is totally unfair! They provide tremendous revenue to the caterers & florists who must work ALOT to prepare for all of the parties, awards banquets, dinners & other social events they seem to have constantly. I wonder how much all those social events add up to annually? I do not like paying for other peoples’ parties.

The UN is useful.

It’s useful to hacks from third world countries for earning the big bucks kicked in from Uncle Whiskers. It’s useful to worthless American politicians who push nonsense like Gorebal Warming. It’s useful to tin-horn leaders from insignificant nations to sit up there with the big boys.

It’s of absolutely NO USE to Americans and its citizens who have to foot the larger share of the bill to keep this zoo churning out communism.

It’s a force for evil.

HOW USELESS IS THE UNITED NATIONS?

Useless? That is the wrong adjective. "Malignant" would be a better way to describe them. "Useless" implies they don't have an impact on the world or humanity. They do, and it's all bad.

The UN served a purpose when we had a two-super-power world, that is the U.S. and the USSR (even though back then it was left-leaning and anti-Israel). But now the UN serves no purpose as other than a check on the U.S. To add insult to injury, we are expected to pay about 40% of its budget, and to host the ingrates. We should withdraw and form a new multi-national with nations whose interests align with ours.

Ahh, the article author is William “Bill” Federer who’s also the author of the book, “What Every American Needs to Know About the Qur’an”. Here’s his book discussion on c-span.org and it’s a real good quick history lesson on islam that you can send people to. Gives a good outline of the methodology of how islam spreads. How they move in as a peaceful minority and use this new countries policies against them and eventually, take over (rape, kill, enslave) and install sharia once their numbers are great enough.

Useless isn’t a problem. Just another cog in the gears of government. They are much worse than useless. They are a threat.

Does anyone know where to find State spending figures that track from 1900 or so? In Washington State I have been trying to find them and they only go back to about 2010. Everything else has been scrubbed from the internet I think.
