I saw the interview and the first thing that hit me was “sellers remorse”. I think he opened his mouth to the NE and the Clinton’s mob figured out quickly who it was and sent the threats out. His interview was to minimize the damage to the Clintons and try to deflect the source of much of the information to other sources in the NE. Guy is probably wearing Depends 24/7.

I got a very different vibe. I did sense remorse, but the impression I got was that NE was going to run a story, and somehow Rovin caught wind of it. He runs in the same circle as many of these reporters and publishers. Anyway, he sees the proposed story, and it burns some of his confidential sources. So in exchange for cutting those identities out, he agrees to give up some of what he knows and participated in.

NE had lots of this material independently of Rovin.

I agree with you totally. Hannity was punked. I’m sure in the conversations over the last few days, he gave Hannity and his staff the sense he was going to blow the lid of the story.

It was like a trial lawyer getting stiffed by a witness who is changing their story when he starts questioning them. “Can you tell us what she told you”, expecting he would, but instead getting “I’d rather not”.

He dodged every tough question and even had the nerve to make it sound like the Rapist Bill Clinton was a decent enough guy, he actually wanted them to not smear Monica?

Of course they know who he is, they hired the guy. He knows what has happened to people like Jerry Parks, Foster, Brown, McDougal, Seth Richard, etc. He looked scared, like someone who realized they made a mistake and needed to backtrack as best he can. Someone scared for the safety of his family and friends.
