ST. GEORGE, Maine (AP) -- U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts is upgrading his vacation home in Maine.
Roberts and his wife, Jane Roberts, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, purchased a second Hupper Island home in the town of St. George this month. The 1,560-square-foot, waterfront home is larger than the original home on abutting property that they bought in 2006.

Lots of the ultra-rich have property on the Maine Coast. Acadia National Park was donated by the Rockefellers. Many recognizable American brand name families own property on MDI as well as celebreties.

I am in complete agreement that Robert’s Obamacare ruling was bogus and will even go as far as to speculate that it was coerced. I will not however engage in class envy. It’s what the left does and has no place in Godly or conservative values.
It’s class envy when you’re attacking whatever someone’s making in the private sector by virtue of their own hard work, creativity and resourcefulness.
It aint class envy when you’re the one paying for a poorly performing public servant to live in class.
You prepared to argue that pay in DC is merit-based? These guys have earned six figures for the mess they’ve put the country in? They’re not even convincing actors, much less “public servants.”

Envy is bad if the reason you hate rich people is because they are rich.
Envy is good if the rich people you hate are criminals or have received special government treatment/favors in exchange for bribes, or they actively harm people in the process of getting rich.
Nowadays we live in a Kleptocracy, and in such a regime (like in Russia, China, etc.) the majority of the rich people are bad people.

I also try to stay out of the habit of convicting a person without evidence. Can we speculate that he was coerced into his Obamacare ruling? Sure. Do we have evidence that he received money in exchange for the ruling Obama wanted? I haven’t seen it... So he bought himself a million dollar plus property. Do you have proof where that money came from?
Many conservatives are angry about that ruling, myself included, and we have a right to be, but show me actual evidence that he did anything other than make a really bad ruling, otherwise it is all speculation on our part. We should hold ourselves to a higher standard.
