“...the Hobbs Act...”
I didn’t realize there was a specific act about this. It’s such an obvious and egregious abuse of power that it should be prosecutable on... well general principles. Or, she should be prosecutable as an individual for damages to the company, and any bribes forfeit.
The Hobbs Act has been used to prosecute pols who took bribes ....seen as impairing the economic viability of an area.
Hillary might also be subject to laws governing govt officials who use taxpayers and taxpayer resources to advance the interests of a foreign govt.
