This is a remarkable speech-and I haven't even listened to 20 minutes of it. I don't know why this man isn't Trump's chief spokesman.

Is the “Browncoat” reference from the TV Show “Firefly”? I consider that somewhat obscure. Of course, if it’s not from “Firefly” then I guess I consider it even more obscure.
Peter Thiel is a fantastic conservative and he’s a genius.
I don’t care if he’s a homo, even though I freakin hate homosexuality.
Peter Thiel is NOT Trump’s “main spokesman.” He was the token liberal (compare to Koch, S Jackson, Lieberman at past Republican conventions.)
I listened and was impressed. This is a more or less honest man - a big government liberal but an honest one.

Serenity is my favorite sci-fi film, and I love Firefly, even if it was written by a hopeless leftie.
But I honestly think he articulates Trump's vision better than Trump himself.

“Don’t ask, don’t tell” worked well. Thiel isn’t preaching his lifestyle, he’s trying to help save the country and I applaud him for it.
Those who would reject the assistance of competent and capable people like Thiel should be reminded that if we wanted a pastor-in-chief, Cruz or Huckabee might be the nominee. And Peter Theil would not be giving the kind of endorsement and assistance he is giving today.
Such nastiness is completely uncalled for.
