The holocence is overdue to end.

Maybe the extra co2 bought us a 100 years or so, but eventually Milankovitch/Earth’s orbit cycles will rule the day.

Only in rigged computer models, which bear as much resemblance to the complexity of Earth’s climate as a stack of Lego’s has to the Space Shuttle, does our output of CO2 have any effect whatsoever. It is and has always been just a theory, repudiated by the scientist who came up with it before he died. The purpose of the “climate emergency” has always been money and political power. Nothing more and nothing less.

Anthropomorphic global warming might have bought us as much as 2,000 years. It started over 4,000 years ago (with the start of agriculture). Based on previous ice ages, we’re about 2,000 years overdue. The additional “greenhouse gases” (in quotes, because there’s no actual greenhouse involved — it’s just a simplistic metaphor) have kept the cooling at bay, so far. It could get chilly for the next million years, or so. Pretty much all of Canada was covered by miles-thick ice; so, I guess you’d better start on that Northern border wall soon.

Or the fluctuation in the energy output of the Sun, which happens on a smaller time scale than the Milankovitch Cycles.
