“Clinton did not like to read things on electronic devices. Huma printed hard copies of email”

finally something about hillary that could be legitimate.
i’m an old fart. when we first got pcs in work for some reason i wasnt comfortable reading off the screen. i’m not sure why, it was 20 years ago. i used to print everything out.
now of course i cannot read from paper. go figure.

Although IMAP email is kept on the server, emails can be cached on a local machine for offline use.

See description of an IMAP4 client side mail reader at Preferred IMAP settings

Client side caching of IMAP4 messages is a desirable feature for offline work e.g. travel disconnected from the server. Deletion operations can be invoked for the local copy or local/server. Mailbox synchronization on a subsequent connection will process server side deletes that are propagated back to the local cache

I use an Android phone with an IMAP4 client that behaves exactly this way. The same mailbox is accessible via webmail on my desktop browser. Propagation of server side deletes occurs exactly as described to the messages cached in my phone if deleted by the browser.

Assuming mailbox cleanliness was not a habit on the server side, the phone(s) that Huma and Hillary used to contact their IMAP4 server may very well have a huge local cache of messages for offline use. Backing the phone up to Weiner's laptop would capture a file of those messages that is no longer subject to remote management by a server side delete issued from the IMAP4 server.

It’s really saddening. So very many people are evil or are evil adjacent, which is the same thing. Freepers are tough cookies, we’ve lived through a lot between us, we knew a lot about these Clintons, yet even we are shocked and outraged at the breadth of corruption.

One reason I love listening to Hannity these days is because he hasn’t missed a day of politics in all these years, yet his voice is filled with such horror and disgust, righteous anger and revulsion. I feel the same way. I did not fall off the turnip truck last night. I’ve seen all kinds of scandals in my day. NOTHING TOUCHES THIS. It is like a horror dream or movie where suddenly you find out everyone has been in on a plot against you this whole time. Your best friend. Your spouse. Your mother. I think we all are like some of Bill Clintons victims. These people are the highest of the high in ruling class and law enforcement, and if they are dirty, we’ve got no one. If the press literally won’t report on major shopping treasonous scandal, who will ever know?

Please let the people know the truth. Dear Gd please get and keep us all informed. We CAN handle the truth.

I've been using POP style e-mail over SLIP and later PPP connections since the Summer of 1985. I was part of the active group of developers building Phil Karn's KA9Q Net/NOS code in both DOS and Xenix platforms. PPP was incubated on this project before being released as an official RFC supported framing protocol. We hacked together a PPP style link protocol call KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) to interface the amateur radio terminal node controllers (TNC). The TNC carried TCP/IP wrapped inside an AX.25 frame wrapped in a KISS frame to/from the local computer. Much of the nice mobile TCP/IP that you enjoy today was an outgrowth of Phil Karn's subsequent employment at Qualcomm in San Diego. My old packet gear is wrapped in a box about 10 feet from where I'm currently seated. It has been largely idle since I moved from the Mira Mesa area of San Diego to Idaho in December 2000.

“33,000 deleted emails about yoga, recipes, and weddings? C’mon, Hill, did you really think we were that stupid?”

apparently, approximately 60 million voters are.

No opinion one way or the other. Just passing on what someone had reported.

Yeah, it was probably someone at the NSA feeding the “hackers.”

I came to this conclusion a few days ago. Who have access to 650,000 emails from multiple computers? Who would have the ability to download 650,000 emails? How long would it take for a standard pervert to load 650,000 emails? Weiner was probably more shocked than anyone when this was announced.

Just the sheer volume tells us that it is NSA. All the intelligence agencies are willing to point the finger at the Russians in case some actual journalist decides to try and find out the real source. Little danger of that given the servile and stupid nature of the media.

Apparently there are elements within the intelligence community which, rightly, fear Mrs “ I can’t recall” have access to more national security secrets.

We need one more blow to Hillary before election day. Looks like she has stopped the bleeding for now. How is Florida looking before Tuesday? GOP turnout vs Dem turnout still tracking okay?

What was he saying? This is nuts, you couldn’t write this stuff, one of the most blatantly corrupt politicians in US history is a hairs breath away from the Presidency, and one that is not only corrupt but one that is an extreme risk to national security, it’s unbelievable and what’s even more unbelievable is that we have millions of people WHO SUPPORT HER!! What the F????

I’m listening to a rewind of his show now, wow he is exactly right in suggesting Obama violated the espionage act, unreal. Obama knew all about hillarys unsecured server yet he still communicated with her through his blackberry and now he his sh*tting himself that Trump may win and get someone like Rudy Guliani as AG, that’s why Obama is campaigning like hell for Hillary. Levin is brilliant.
