Texas is a Red state, but Mark Cuban doesn’t care if it affects his bottom line.
Some Dallas Mavericks fans don’t like him supporting Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton while continuing his feud with GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.
I asked Cuban about that on my NBC Sports Radio Show Tuesday and he didn’t hold back.
“You know what, when it’s all said and done, I’d rather lose every penny than have Trump as president because I care more about the future of my family, my children than I do about my pocketbook," Cuban said. "And so if it means we play to empty arenas, I’m down with that."
Cuban told me he already voted in the election cast his ballot for Clinton. He also said that the Mavericks will not be staying at any Trump hotels this season.
For fans who want him to just stay out of politics after the election, he promises he will. He acknowledged his critics on both sides of this contentious presidential election:
“Maybe I pick up some fans. Maybe I lose some fans. I don’t know," he said. "I’ve heard it from both. I’ve had people say ‘there’s no way I can support you. I can’t go to another Mavs game.’ And I’ve had people say ‘you know what? We’re buying Mavs tickets.' What I’ve heard more often than anything is, ‘are you gonna be this way once the election’s over?’ And the answer is no. You’ve known me forever Newy and I’ve been apolitical my entire adult life and only because I know Donald and I know my feelings about what he would be like as president have I gotten this involved but come November 9, it’s all Mavs all the time.”

cuban was a salesman that had an idea of how to keep up with his basketball team. He and a partner got YAHOO to buy them out for a few billions of dollars during the dot.com boom when companies were making all kinds of stupid deals. He’s not really made any money since then. So I won’t give him credit for being boy-genius.
He’s not increased his wealth in almost 20 years but he’s looked upon as some sort of financial guru? Not by me. He was just lucky enough to find some Yahoo idiots.
I hope the lousy Mavericks lose every game they play.
“Shark Tank” used to be one of my favorite shows, but I haven’t watched it at all this season because of that scum bag Cuban being on the show.

Cuban is a fool. If the witch gets in, his kids are far more likely to be killed by illegal aliens or blown up in a muzzie terrorist attack. Trump will make this far less likely.
I some times say Cuban is an idiot.
In some ways he obviously isn’t, but it is very interesting to me how folks can be so intelligent in some ways, and so brain dead in others.
The guy’s business acumen is undeniable, but when it comes to politics, his decision making is terrible.
I have a hard time looking at him now knowing he thinks Clinton is the best candidate.

Can someone explain the appeal of Mark Cuban especially concerning politics? Politics?! The man is seriously dumber than a post. And I hate to have to say that (not really lol) because that’s a Lefties pat line. But he’s just dumb. For real.
The only time I can get into basketball is if I have a good ticket at a live game. Otherwise, I just cannot get into it anymore.
Back in the days of Larry Bird, I used to watch. But today, only if I can get a ticket to the game, not TV. But I wouldn’t be interested in giving one penny to this Trump hater. I now hate the guy.

He knows, or thinks anyway, that his grand childrens’ grand children will still be a part of the ruling class. His hopes and fears for his children are far different than most of us I’m sure.
Is Cuban the sole owner of the Mavs? If he has partners I’m sure they wouldn’t be down with playing to empty arenas. They would be staging a shareholder revolt.
Cuban tried to get Trump to pick him to be VP; Trump turned him down, so he threw a hissy fit and backed the Beast.

When I lived in Milwaukee, both the Bucks and the Marquette Warriors were the champs. Kareem was mt neighbor! I was basket ball crazy. Then I moved back to Cleveland. I went to one Cavs game and lost interest in Basketball. They were terrible back then!
