REVEALED: Rahm Emanuel Used A Private Email Server
The Daily Caller ^ | 11/04/16 | Michael Bastasch

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel used a private email server to communicate with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta, leaked emails reveal.

Emanuel, a former House lawmaker who served early on in the Obama administration, sent an email to Podesta asking him to consider Brian DeSplinter for a position with Clinton’s campaign. Emnauel sent the email from the address “mayor_re@rahmemail.com.”

The email address is still active, according to Mailtester.com, and is run through Google’s Gmail service. This is unlike Clinton who used a private email server based out of her Chappaqua, New York home.

WikiLeaks published the email chain online Friday in its latest tranche of emails from Podesta’s hacked Gmail account. It’s long been suspected Emanuel used a personal email to conduct official city business.

Off point, but I wonder what kind of dynamic all of those INSULTING emails about each other are going to play out in this group.

Is there any rhyme or reason which emails Wikileaks decide to release and when? It seems that each batch released have random dates from 2008 to 2015.

And why should I care if Rahm Emanuel had a rahmemail.com email address?

You can get your own .com email address, without having your own server. I wonder if Daily Caller doesn’t know the difference.

Sending a job request over his private email sounds entirely the correct usage of the private versus mayoral official email.

We is a scumbag Dem but there is nothing inappropriate about this that I can see.

Apparently they do not; there’s a rather huge difference between having your own domain name, as Rotten Rahm does, and having your own SERVER.

This almost constitutes a “dark net”, an overlay of the public Internet that is accessible only through additional software, and resides in the deep web, where there is no indexing on search engines.

Technically, it’s not a “private server” like the one Cankles had. It’s just a private domain you can buy from Google that goes through Gmail. I have one for my business too. I only bring it up because HRC keeps using this as her excuse that she only did what other Secretaries of State had done, which is a bald-faced lie.

As time goes on, I think we’ll find that pretty much every high-level scheming leftist politician has used them

Did Rahm use a private server when he was Obama's COS
AND running the US Treasury at the same time?

"Don't worry, Mr President, the Dept of the Treasury is under your control."

=============================================

ONCE UPON A TIME, IN THE PRIVILIGED ENCLAVES OF
OUR NATION'S CAPITAL, RHAM EMANUEL HELD TWO JOBS
Soon as they occupied the WH, Obama and the Chicago con artists (a) took control of the US Census; (b) Obama placed his COS Rahm Emanuel in control of the US Dept of the Treasury (oversees the IRS).

PAUSE TO REFLECT First-term Obama had tight control of Treasury; Obama calculatedly placed his then-COS Rahm Emanuel in a dual role.......in the WH and at Treasury. Obama had a stranglehold on Treasury via COS Rahm Emanuel's dual role Read on.

==========================================

THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. Reported by WSJ / 05/31/09

Big difference between Google Mail and Hillary Clinton's homebrew server--it's MUCH harder to hack into Google Mail if you don't know the Google account credentials.

This sounds plausible because concerns have been raised that Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has avoided using city computers, devices and telephones to send messages for fear of having to divulge messages in response to Freedom of Information Act requests.
