Would an Endorsement by Laura Bush Seal the Deal for Hillary Clinton?
Observer ^ | November 6, 2016 | John A. Tures

When Donald Trump destroyed and derided Bush Family heir-apparent, Jeb “Low Energy” Bush, in the GOP primaries in 2016, eyes turned toward the dynastic Republican family in Texas. Would the Bushes cross party lines to back Hillary Clinton or stick with the Republican standard-bearer?

In September, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend revealed that George H. W. Bush said he would vote for Clinton, which the former president’s spokesperson later confirmed. His son, President George W. Bush, noticeably refused to endorse Trump, but his nephew George P. Bush, the Texas Land Commissioner, last week let it slip that his uncle may vote for Hillary Clinton as well.

She would not dare.

That would be the end of Bush support - what’s left of it.

Like most of the Bushes, she’s a liar, fraud, and a hypocrite. After representing her family to be pro-life, she turns out to be pro-choice.

The late sen. Prescott Bush was the first treasurer of the group later to become known as Planned Parenthood. Most all the Bush women, after their husband’s political careers ended, have come out as pro-choice. They’re all liars.

Additionally, her husband was a lame president. He helped create an environment where someone like obama could get elected.

Laura, I’ve heard more than enough from you already so shut up.

Hillary would be the sixth term of the Clinton-Bush political dynasty.

Next it will be George P and Chelsea.

Cruz has two strikes, foreign birth and foreign national parent.
Rubio, Jindal, Haley and George P Bush were at least born here, although with foreign national parents they are not natural born citizens.

The only time a Republican gets respect from the MSM, is when they betray Conservatism. On that day they are a cause celeb. The next day they’re evil personified again.

And yet..., some Republicans can’t help but sucker for it.

It would make normal people who are not librarians more inclined to vote for Trump.

We already know that most of the Bushes will be voting for Hillary, so they might as well make it official.

As to whether it would help Hillary - is there really anyone out there who is a stupid enough or enough of an automaton to base their vote on who Laura Bush supports? Perhaps there are a few such people around, and I'm glad that I don't know any of them.

George is already a state office holder in Texas and plans to run for governor in the future following in his uncle's footsteps. He spent a LOT of time campaigning for his father Jeb while on the Texas taxpayers dime.

Jorge realized that he had to endorse Trump for the sake of his political survival in Texas. Does anyone really believe that this sleazy, entitled scion of a corrupt ruling family supported Trump out of a sense of principle? I'm hoping Jorge P's recent turnaround act of faux solidarity won't fool anyone into thinking any better of him.

"I want the Bush’s GONE.
I want the Clinton’s GONE.
I want the Kennedy’s GONE.

Drain the swamp."

I want the Obama's gone too!
And their Democrats.

I really hope to live to see the day that there will be nobody named Bush or Clinton holding or running for political office in America.

I too thought Laura was decent.

Then I read her book.

What an assclown.

She sees herself as our betters.

George is on his way out in TX. He will never hold elective office again in this state. Conservatives are mobilized against him now. They know his true colors.

I smack talk about him to anyone who will listen.
