I think that was why he was so incensed. On the surface it sounded reasonable — just adopt the Federal gun background check for gun shows is how it was sold to him. Then he apparently found out what he had given his money to and was pissed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlw7HwXOcfs

“Sorry Steve. No refunds.” Yeah, most of the clueless who signed the petition to get it on the ballot were sold a bill of goods as well. Such as, no more domestic violence. None, not any ever. Bad guys will never be able to buy a gun at a gun show again. Ever. Targeted mostly middle age ladies and younger ladies. Las Vegas may do us in on this one. Pretty sure the party time marijuana law will pass as well. I have to say that the NRA and GOA have done a pretty good job of trying to protect our rights this time around. Was it enough? Sure hope so. End result, mostly ignored by the common man. LEO looking out for violations, probably won’t spend much time on it since there are no provisions for funding investigations.
