Citing an unnamed insider, the Wall Street Journal is reporting that former Gov. Bobby Jindal is being eyed by President-elect Donald Trump for a potential appointment as Health and Human Services Secretary.
If so, it could be one of the quickest turnarounds from enemy to frenemy to partner in recent political history.
A spokesman for Jindal didn't immediately respond to The Advocate's request for comment. A Politico.com story on Trump's possible cabinet appointees doesn't mention Jindal on the HHS Secretary list. Buzzfeed's exhaustive list of potential appointees similarly makes no mention of Jindal.

There’s a LOT of better people, more loyal and more qualified, out there.
Trump is mature enough not to let personal feelings get in the way of hiring competence.
More important to make sure Jindal is squeaky clean.

I like Bobby. Someone must have proposed it. And I would think they discussed it with Jindal first.
People think Trump is this vindictive guy, and frankly, I don’t see it.
You can’t be successful in business being that vindictive.
Jindal is squeaky clean....hope he gets the position.
Ben Carson as the surgeon general or heading up the VA Hospital programs would be nice too.

I thought supportive of Trump even before Trump clinched the nomination.

“In 1996, Jindal was appointed secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and in 1999, at age 28, he was appointed as the youngest president of the University of Louisiana System. In 2001, President George W. Bush appointed Jindal as principal adviser to the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services.”

BOR floated HHS Secy by Rudy last night and Rudy seemed to encourage that idea. Of course he’s not going to telegraph anything, and said his preference was to have 3 nominations from his advisors for each post and then he’d make the final cut. So Jindal would logically be in such a group.
