I've always thought it interesting that Californians believe that they are the only state with a pleasant climate. On the other hand, California looks like, and is, a desert.

I live in Atlanta. Chilly right now, due to change without notice.

I guess that you know NOTHING about the NORTHERN half of the state...the Sierra Nevada mountains, the plethora of rivers from the run off of those mountains, the ski resorts, the GIANT REDWOODS, the bountiful fishing/crabbing off the coastline or the HUGE almost state-long valleys that grow enough food to feed half the world. No deserts in the northern HALF of the state.
Did I forget to mention the petroleum and natural gas in this state? California oil and gas industry - Wikipedia

Atlanta is a beautiful city too I hear. I wouldn't go there during the summer as it would remind me of living on the Persian Gulf in Saudi Arabia--HOT and HUMID.

TOO MANY people come here to live. Get on the horn and get them to move to Atlanta, please.
