I understand, my husband was in a half marathon near Yosemate Park in early October. We met some nice people and really felt at home. In fact I bought a “deplorable mug a a nice gift shop there. I wouldn’t want to live on the coast but the interior seems nice.

What's wrong with the coast? There are no storms like the northeast and no tidal waves. There IS some undertow. The water is only 50° even in sunny southern California. You see TONS of folks at the beach but only CHILDREN in the water.

There is wonderful fishing, whale watching, crabbing, boating and sailing.

The westerly winds prevail so we get the fresh, clean pure air of the ocean. Nothing like fresh sea air to invigorate the lungs. It pushes all the pollution from the cities, farms and highways to the EAST, away from us to dissipate into the mountains.

I once got a HORRIBLE case of poison oak on my calves. The doctor told me to put on some bermuda shorts and wade in the ocean up to my knees.
The freezing cold water and salt dried up the poison oak in minutes. Never saw anything like it.

Just dig a trench along the californcate border and use the material to build the Mexican wall.
Charge hi import fees for anything sold from Californicate to the states.
