I’m sorry, but I’m pretty sure that none of these ‘binding vote’ laws would ever stand up to serious review. The electoral college can, if they so choose, pick anyone for president.
But they are electors chosen by the parties; to imagine there’s that many ‘NeverTrumpers’ who’d swap their votes is laughable. ESPECIALLY if it comes at the request of sore losers (who are at this moment trying their hardest to find these electors and get them under their thumb.)
The funny thing is, had these sore losers actually thought about it and said ‘okay, we’re pretty sure that Bernie would have won had Hillary not cheated, so we want him installed as president,’ that might have been a successful argument.
Of course, that would also mean that their party electors who are nearly 100% loyal to a fault to Hillary (and thus is the worst part of having her as a candidate, the return of the Dixie Mafia to all levels of their party...) would have to vote for someone other than she who shall win...
So, yeah, I’m sure there will be a couple flips both ways come the 19th of December, but it will be Trump who will be inaugurated in January.
Why don’t they start a petition declaring that the Indians beat the Cubs in the World Series? It has as much chance of success.

The sad thing is that most of those people think the Electoral College is a school somewhere, with a bunch of pointy-headed liberal professors.
It would have been a whole lot cheaper and faster to just have a petition drive to determine the president. No need for elections.
There is no such organization as the “U.S. Electoral College.” Who are they sending this petition to? Each candidate for president submitted along with its filing with the secretary of state of each state a slate of persons to be named electors in the event the candidate is successful. Upon certification of election by the secretary of state of each state, they will notify the persons listed on the winning slate that they should attend the electoral college in their state capitol on December 19, 2016 to cast their votes for president and vice-president. Historically, fewer than 1/538 of electors betray their candidate in any election, Even if 10% of Trump’s electors were to defect it would not change the outcome of the election.
