Sid needs to remember that the historical precedent was Deep Throat, the #2 guy at the FBI. Now
that was deliberate leaking, and a clear conspiracy, to take down a president for partisan political reasons.
Or was it courageous action by a whistleblower to ensure that misconduct in high places did not go unpunished?
