Lessons from 2016: An Open Letter to Donald Trump
Conservative Review ^ | 11/12/16 | Steve Deace

Dear Donald Trump,

Political urban legend tells of a phone call then-President George H.W. Bush is said to have received on the eve of the first Iraq War.

Legend has it that after months of build up, Bush was suddenly having second thoughts about unleashing Hell upon Saddam Hussein at the last minute. Until he picked up the phone and heard the familiar, penetrating voice of Margaret Thatcher on the other end.

Mark Levin and the Conservative Review can go suck eggs. They have nothing of value that Trump needs to listen to, any more than he needs to listen to the Bushes, Clintons, Democrats, the enemedia, or any other NeverTrumpers.

Yes Trump listen to this guy

Conservative Iowa talk radio personality Steve Deace, who became a prominent endorser of Ted Cruz’s presidential run, has reacted to Donald Trump’s ascendance to presumptive GOP nominee by breaking up with the Republican Party, filing paperwork today to renounce his party registration.

On Facebook and on his radio program last night, Deace declared that the United States is like a “petulant brat” who is “crying out to be spanked” by God.

He declared on his radio program that “the Republican Party ended for me today.”

“I just will not belong to something that has zero interest in the things of God,” he said, “and it’s clear to me that this party does not. I will not belong to something that has, whose character has sunk so low that it could nominate a man like Donald Trump as its standard-bearer.”

To the members of the “Trump cult,” he said, “Congratulations, you won, here’s the keys to your lemon.”

Steve Deace, go f*ck yourself. You have about as much standing to be giving further advice/opinion on Trump, his agenda or his governance as does Huma, Mook, or Podesta.

For immediate release
November 9, 2016

LP Vice Chair Open Letter to Democrats
Arvin Vohra, Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party released this open letter to Democratic voters today in response to their candidate’s decisive defeat:

Democratic voters:

Do you know why the Democratic Party lost despite better organization and more money?

It’s because you literally nominated an openly pro-war Democrat. (Obama at least pretended otherwise.)

The current version Democratic Party is strongest in politically correct parts of cities, where people are often more influenced by the fashion of politics than by the substance. But the real Democratic voters, the ones who have been Democrats for decades, are not really interested in safe spaces and nonsense. They are opposed to war. Many of them became Democrats in response to the Vietnam war and to Nixon’s War on Drugs (which is ironic, given that Democrats initially got the U.S. military involved in Vietnam).

When you nominated an openly pro-war “Democrat”, that was frankly too much. They could not support that type of person. And rightly so.

To those anti-war Democrats: what do you do when a spouse mistreats you? First you try to convince them otherwise. If that doesn’t work, you leave, and make them earn you back.

It’s time for you to ditch the pro-War “Democratic” party. Join the actual anti-War party: the Libertarian Party. If the Democrats want your vote and your energy, make them earn it. Make them pledge to end the War on Drugs and end U.S. involvement in foreign civil wars. Libertarian Candidates have already signed pledges to that effect.

And to the anti-War left that has been missing since 2008: please stop the hypocrisy. Democrats bombing foreign countries is just as bad as Republicans bombing foreign countries. If you cannot hold your own candidates the the same standards you hold Republican candidates, you are either hypocrites or fools.

If you want to stop war, bring the troops home, shut down foreign military bases, and cut taxes accordingly, please join the Libertarian Party. Learn more at lp.org.

In Liberty,

Arvin Vohra
Vice Chair
Libertarian National Committee

###

The Libertarian Party was founded in 1971 and is the third largest political party in the United States.

The Libertarian Party seeks to expand personal freedoms, dramatically reduce taxes and government interference in the economy, and avoid meddling in overseas conflicts.

Just FYI, Deace is only heard on a couple small stations in Iowa that don’t even cover any of the largest Iowa cities.

Though Iowa-based, I think most of his radio listeners are in the southeastern US or listen on podcasts. In other words, he’s a blogger.

Shut-up, Mark. You are getting tiresome and no one wants your advice. You broke the rule, you should have got behind the nominee. Even yesterday, on the radio, you still dig at Trump. (drive home radio, my choice is between Mark and another Never Trumper)

This NeverTrump moron should be contemplating a nap on the BNSF train tracks, not dishing out advice for Trump.

Remember these cretins wanted to blacklist us, the Trump supporters?
For all I care they can all find new careers outside of government, policy, and media.
They’re worthless and have proved so again and again and again.

Trump will be Trump, he has always been that way, and he will continue to be that way...that is why WE the American Voters put him where he is today...

I didn't notice any of these ‘pearl grabbing, sofa fainting’ idiots on the ballot did you? No you didn't...

Trump will use the people around him for whatever he is doing or things that will be facing him at that time, he used Corey for the primaries; he used Manafort for the being of the General and then he used Conway, by the way the only woman that has succeeded in running a winning ticket to the White House, and he will continue to do this...

By doing this, these pearl grabbing, sofa fainting individuals will attack his decisions along with the media and anyone else that doesn't like his way of doing things...

He isn't a POLITICIAN, and that is what we like about him, he is ONE OF US, hard working, blue collar Americans...

As far as him ‘not getting the popular vote’ oh cont-air he did get the ‘popular vote’ along with 306 Electoral Votes, plus he carried the Black Community; Latino Community; the Christians and Evangelia voters...now take your weak kneed selves and go run on your own ticket and do things the way you want them done, we have our PRESIDENT thank you very much!!!

Ah, yes. Libertarian Party. The party of open borders, both for trade and labor. No walls. No borders, even. AND nominates lunatics (literally) to represent them! It just doesn’t get much better than that!

HL, love the words you speak. President TRUMP may not be everyone’s choice, however, he is OUR choice - due to the person he is as well as who he is not nor likely to be.

May we suggest you call your pack of hounds home to the kennels, Steve and other assorted pundits. You have been reclassified as worthless to your chosen profession.

No thanks. “Formulas” set in concrete do not work.
I will admit that the Democrats love to puddle-duck waddle
into wars all over the place, and then blame the other
party for NOT FIXING THEIR MESS FAST ENOUGH.

Yes. Sometimes wars are just and necessary. Me wishing
that weren’t true is just lying to myself. My dad fought
the Nazis in WWII, in N. Africa, Italy & Germany; saw
dead bodies of Jews, Christians, homosexuals and other
“undesirables” piled ten feet high for a distance of an
eighth of a mile at one of the German concentration
camps the Americans liberated. Yes. Hitler had to be
stopped. (He had disarmed the men in Germany; then
thought they ought to be able to kill Allies and break
things. Their aim was not as good as American boys who
had of necessity hunted all their lives.) They charged
Hell with a bucket of water and a rifle; and won a
war they thought at times they were likely to lose -
with the help of God Almighty who does choose sides at
times - and that was one of them.

Yeah. Obama LIED. He has been good at that; but when
people see they’ve been lied to, they turn on you.
Lying is NOT simply “pretending”. God hates loving and
making LIES.

How about a couple questions on Conservative Review's phoney ratings.
  1. Cruz gets a Green Light on Civil Liberties. Was that rating made before or after Cruz supported the Soros thugs who disrupted Trump's rally in Chicago?

  2. Since when does Cruz deserve a "Good" on Immigration. Seems like Glenn Beck's faux Hispanic president was awful weak on immigration.

  3. On Trade too, the TPP supporter Cruz getting a higher score than Trump makes no sense. Trump is the one who the issue of trade big time.
The list is theoretical anyway. Cruz did not get the nomination. And if he did, it's pretty obvious that Cruz would not have been able to beat Hillary and media.

But this ratings chart tells me a lot about where Conservative Review is coming from -- and it smells a lot like RINO and NeverTrump.
