Ivana wants to be Trump’s ambassador for Czech Republic
New York Post ^ | November 13, 2016 | Dana Schuster

Now that her ex-husband is president-elect, Ivana Trump is ready to serve her country.

“I will suggest that I be ambassador for the Czech Republic,” Ivana told The Post on Friday.

“[That] is where I’m from and my language and everybody knows me. I’m quite known all around the world. Not only in America. I have written three books, and they were translated in 40 countries in 25 languages...

“We need the immigrants. But what is wrong is when an 18-year-old Mexican girl goes over the wall — which is the height of my chair, four feet — she gives birth in the American hospital, her child becomes automatically American. Who is paying for the birth, and who is paying for her food and upkeep? Us taxpayers. And that needs to stop...”

And while she thinks her own kids are prepared for the spotlight, Ivana has sympathy for Melania and Donald’s young son, Barron.

“Barron is 10 years old. It’s so new for him. He has to go and change the schools and get new friends. It’s going to be a huge transition for him. He’s the one I feel the most for. It’s going to be a whole new world for him, with security and all that,” Ivana said...

I thought Trump must be a decent guy because neither ex-wife came out against him during the run.

And neither have any real Trump employees. No one was pushed out into the press that had been a direct report.

And even subcontractors generally went easy on him. I only saw one ad that had a subcontractor complaining.

My friend spent several years flying the old “Trump Shuttle” & also piloted Trump’s private plane & got to know him well. Said Donald was the best boss he ever had.

Ivana has been supportive of Trump, her ex husband.

Trump should award her that appointment.

It’s not like he would be appointing her for Secertary of State.

I guess we need taller immigrants like Ivana and Melania. The Mexican immigrants are reducing the average height of Americans.

there’s actually no legal basis for anchor babies obtaining citizenship by being born on the soil.

US citizenship can only be transferred by birth from the parents or bestowed by the fedgov when nationalized.

anything else is a deliberate misinterpretation of the law

On the bright side, that might make basketball watchable again   ;-)

I agree. She is totally right in saying that just because somebody is born in this country, this means receiving automatic citizenship and welfare. It makes no sense.

My husband was on TDY near Tuscon and stated that when he went to Walmart and the customers he saw were primarily young, short plump hispanic women with tons of children with short skinny young men accompanying then, no English spoken, yet had food stamps, etc. This is during the work day. He also quipped that they ate better than he. Not a happy camper.
