PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD J. TRUMP ANNOUNCES SENIOR WHITE HOUSE LEADERSHIP TEAM
TRUMP FOR AMERICA, INC. US14.CAMPAIGN-ARCHIVE1.COM ^ | SENIOR WHITE HOUSE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Posted on 11/13/2016 1:31:13 PM PST by springwater13

President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced that Trump for President CEO Stephen K. Bannon will serve as Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor to the President, and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will serve as White House Chief of Staff.

Bannon and Priebus will continue the effective leadership team they formed during the campaign, working as equal partners to transform the federal government, making it much more efficient, effective and productive. Bannon and Priebus will also work together with Vice President-elect Mike Pence to help lead the transition process in the run-up to Inauguration Day.

“I am thrilled to have my very successful team continue with me in leading our country,” said President-elect Trump. “Steve and Reince are highly qualified leaders who worked well together on our campaign and led us to a historic victory. Now I will have them both with me in the White House as we work to make America great again.”

“Bannon ROCKS, in brains! Priebus has proven to ROCK in organization!”

So each was appointed to the position best suite for their talents.

“Kelly Ann for White House Spokeswoman!”

She’d be excellent at it, not to mention having a female as the face of the Trump administration should cause more liberal head explosions; however, she’s currently titled as “senior adviser to the Trump transition”, so Trump might have bigger things in mind for her.

LOL! Yes, something like that UUUUGE victory by TRUMP TRAIN does have its effects, without having to say a word to Ryan the boy scout.

But, I am overcome by the spectacle made by Paul Ryan shampooing TRUMP’s boots, as he has been doing since the election. I mean.. talk about a Come to Jesus moment..

Now Ryan has to send his Lefty wife to the dog house and go tell the pope and the US Conference of Catholic Bishops to go kiss off, because their Open Borders cram down is now DEAD ON ARRIVAL.

“but he seems to have jumped aboard the Trump Train.”

I think that happened behind the scenes quite some time ago, and given Trump’s exceptionally powerful callout to Reince in Trump’s acceptance speech on election night,I had the impression that Reince’s activity was EXTREMELY important to Trump’s victory.

Possibly, but I can’t imagine what.

HEY! I’ve got it! Kelly Ann can be head of the RNC!! She is an accomplished pollster, motivator, and organizer and she reads tea leaves accurately.

Except, KAConway, herself, keeps saying something about the White House, so she intimates the position truly is in the White House and not across town in the RNCommittee.

When the chips were down and failure wasn’t an option, Preibus delivered. That’s why Trump thinks so highly of him. He didn’t even know him 18 mo the ago. Trump looks for success, and Preibus was successful in a tough situation.

End of story.

“Folks need to remember what the chief of staff position actually does - keep the president’s calendar, keep the staff in line and coordinate with outsiders. You need a good man to do it, but he doesn’t make policy and he doesn’t run the agencies.”

AND the CoS needs to be young and energetic, and it greatly helps to have a smooth and likable personality. Not to mention Trump has to totally trust the person 100% and have 100% faith in them, which appears to be the case here, which say A LOT about Mr. Priebus.

The President, and his staff, have no power to appoint or remove members of the House of Representatives...If you want a new speaker, lobby the Republicans elected to the House for the next term to make a change.

Which is exactly what the WH with its immediate access will do and, IMO, will do quite successfully. (For example, see Valjar.)

As for the rest of your #128, I agree completely. It somewhat reminds one of the circumstances of Gen Eisenhower's appointment as Supreme Commander.

Priebus will be acting as gatekeeper and thus may wield a great amount of influence. However, Trump will be able to monitor exactly who has expressed a desire to meet with him and for why and which of those Preibus admitted. It will operate very well, until Trump may sense it isn't.

When interviewed years ago, one of President Trump’s employees expressed that DJT has the uncanny gift of being able to quickly assess people’s strengths/weaknesses and skill sets, and perfectly match them with the appropriate positions.

With this in mind, I defer to President Trump’s judgement.

Reince Priebus is a dickless wonder as far as I’m concerned. There are so many better people for this job

That was sort of my first impression... when hearing this, Not real thrilled with how the RNC as a whole acted throughout the election... Have not done it yet, but I will be an independent next time we vote, just cant be one of these two parties after 31 years with GOP for me. I will be supporting conservative outsiders that oppose both parties incumbents first and foremost. I voted Green over McCain, not that it mattered. I would have voted for the liberal against him if she had been an outsider, but she wasn't.

I will take Trump's word for now that he was instrumental in the campaign and willing to see what happens... could be just replacing head of party by promotion and get rid of him later, if he does not work out, I will give him a chance to be a loyal team player, I think Trump rewards (and demands) loyalty.

Trump has been masterful in handling virtually everything so far, I would say minus twitter, but I think it was probably a net gain and played a part in this win too... and with positive stuff that has happened already since he was elected, I wont start second guessing him now, just keep praying for God to be the leader of the team going forward and be happy to just watch and learn...

Agree.

Pictures such as this are an artistic expression of the People’s inner sense of the enormity and historical significance of electing a TRUE PATRIOT the likes of which may never come again.

I heard this morning how he is the first president who was not a politician or a military commander................

He broke the Glass Ceiling!!
