TRUMP FOR AMERICA, INC. US14.CAMPAIGN-ARCHIVE1.COM ^ | SENIOR WHITE HOUSE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Posted on 11/13/2016 1:31:13 PM PST by springwater13

President-elect Donald J. Trump today announced that Trump for President CEO Stephen K. Bannon will serve as Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor to the President, and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus will serve as White House Chief of Staff.

Bannon and Priebus will continue the effective leadership team they formed during the campaign, working as equal partners to transform the federal government, making it much more efficient, effective and productive. Bannon and Priebus will also work together with Vice President-elect Mike Pence to help lead the transition process in the run-up to Inauguration Day.

“I am thrilled to have my very successful team continue with me in leading our country,” said President-elect Trump. “Steve and Reince are highly qualified leaders who worked well together on our campaign and led us to a historic victory. Now I will have them both with me in the White House as we work to make America great again.”

As someone else pointed out, many Cruz supporters are suddenly posting again. Of course most will find fault with practically every decision Trump makes. If that’s what it takes to make them feel better, we’re likely stuck with it. Oh well.

I was thinking the same thing. I like Newt and want him to have a spot, just worried about all the travel too.

I like the choices made today and can’t wait to start seeing things implemented.

“Like what?”

New RNC chairperson, just as one example. If she wants it of course. Kelleyanne can probably pick whatever she wants to do

Not really. I'm very happy myself, but I do take exception to massive broad strokes type of conclusions when there is no evidence of such.

Is it wrong to have a reasonable perspective even in excitement?

I kind of want him to wait on that spot til after he is inaugurated. I don’t want Obama to pardon Clinton and he might if a named DOJ is someone that might go after Clinton.

Is it wrong to come on a Trump thread less than a week after he won, and pour, “good grief, good grief,” cold water on other people’s enthusiastic posts?

Not if you were all in for Cruz, it isn’t.

Bannon graduated from Virginia Tech in 1976 and holds a master’s degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University. In 1983, Bannon received an M.B.A. degree with honors from Harvard Business School.

Bannon was an officer in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Paul F. Foster (DD-964) as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Pacific Fleet.

From 2007 through 2011, Bannon was chairman and CEO of Affinity Media. From March 2012 to August 2016, Bannon was executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC, the parent company of Breitbart. Bannon is also executive chairman and co-founder of the Government Accountability Institute, where he helped orchestrate the publication of book Clinton Cash.

Bannon identifies as a conservative. Speaking about his role at Breitbart, Bannon said: “We think of ourselves as virulently anti-establishment, particularly ‘anti-’ the permanent political class.”
Bannon’s oldest daughter, Maureen, is a West Point graduate and, as of August 2014, a Captain in the United States Army

You probably need a consensus on how is name is actually pronounced.

I am NOT hearing it pronounced with a long i, like in pints.

Ok, seems a lot of the media mispronounce it. Heinze, or rinds (the d is mostly silent in rinds)

Cruz never endorsed Trump like he contractually had to. He said people should vote straight ticket, and that's as close to his word as he came.

Cruz is an @ss.

Yep, Heinz and rinds also have that sound in them. It's the same sound as in the German word "mein" followed by the "ce" sound.

As best I can tell.
