I think "pints" is the closest, named by a couple of people.

I know it will probably never happen, but part of me would just love to see Ann Coulter just lay into the WH Press Corps. . Take no prisoners, blunt and to the point. Would be the daily must see.

Priebus is a sycophant. He only got on board when he realized the wind was blowing in Trump’s direction. But someone like him can be very useful if you never forget that his true loyalties are with himself. You can use him to do the dirty work for you, because he’s expendable. But you’d better make sure that if you do need to get rid of him that he knows you’ve got enough on him to destroy him if he betrays you. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.

I feel and share your enthusiasm...everything is so positive. I want to turn on every (almost) TV and radio station at once and read FR 24/7! I’m cherishing every moment and praying for much more for a long time!

“I hope they got it together. It is tough to watch all of this on the ground.”

I have every faith in President Trump. I had every faith in candidate Trump, and nothing has changed for me. Quite frankly, a lot of the nattering nabobs of negativism on this thread are Cruz trolls that Jim Robinson recently unbanned, and unfortunately I think we’ll be hearing their bullshit even more in the future. They’re coming back over to FR from the anti-Trump, fake conservative website, therightscoop.com to make trouble here.

Things were so nice here until they were unbanned.

I totally trust Trump too.

Isn’t it great to have faith in someone like Trump?

It is a great relief.

I could be wrong about Priebus, but I have a theory that there’s a presumption that career politicians (in politics more than two terms) are per se corrupt (their own political future is more important to them than the future of their constituents or America). The presumption can be rebutted only by clear and convincing evidence.

There may be some evidence to rebut this presumption about Priebus, but so far I’m not convinced and as far as I’m concerned, he stands as a presumptively corrupt politician. As far as I’m concerned, this is how you “drain the swamp” in D.C. and IMO you’ll be right much more often than wrong. Reagan brought a lot of non-politician businessmen into the WH and they were golden to this day.

When the American People are afraid of the politicians and government officials, we have tyranny. When the politicians and government officials are afraid of the American People, we have freedom. I’ll err on the side of freedom any day, and twice on Sunday.

You did forget Reagan. That was an amazing 100 days, too. I know you are excited and kidlike, and that is all good, but have a little perspective before you blurt stuff like, "for the last 100 years", when you really don't know. When Reagan took office things were really bad and he had two houses of Congress that were majority democrat. Interest rates had peaked over 20%, inflation was destroying everything. I think Reagan did amazing things.

The challenges are different and Trump can do it, but he will have both houses of Congress.

Just be happy for the present moment.

They raised his back end off the track and dropped it Wednesday morning early, with wheels spinning.

It was said that Trump "hit it out of the ball park."

Too modest by half

He hit it into earth orbit.

All president elects name their staff in the first week. Good grief. Reagan signed his amnesty in 1986, well past his first 100 days. Good grief.

My oh my now holding our guy accountable to NOT selecting a bonafide establishment RINO is now “negativism” and “Cruz trolls”. Kinda reminiscent of speaking in tongue Obambi supporters towing the line calling folks “teabaggers” for those that spoke out and didn’t get in line with the “movement”

He has done exceptionally well thus far no question but when he has it wrong it’s dead wrong....I guess 6 years of trashing Pubus around here means nothing and now his selection as COS is absolute GENIUS I say! Gimme a break

And we’re supposed to just say nahhh keep your head down mosey right along....this isn’t about being helpful it’s about opinion and calling a spade a spade.

Sorry to break this to you, but this was Trump's decision and I trust him to make the right one rather than to listen to the negative nabob noise.

President-elect Trump, and all really highly successful executives, have as their best skill the ability to put the right person in the right job. I was excited to see who he’d choose as his running mate and was thrilled with that perfect match. These appointments look excellent as well. We will have the best staffed Administration perhaps in US history.

The only one to “totally trust” is God, not man.

We voted for Trump, but electing a politician is like signing a treaty with a potentially dangerous foreign entity. As Reagan said, “We Trust, BUT we VERIFY.” I’m also glad Trump won, but its time the American People began to take the reigns of their country back from the politicians.

We don’t give Carte Blanche to any foreign government and we don’t give Carte Blanche to any politician including Trump. We expect him to follow through, but we must be vigilant in insisting he does so.
