The 83-year-old justice said the most immediate impact on the court of Trump’s election would be to fill the seat that Justice Antonin Scalia occupied until his death in February. “President Trump will fill it,” Ginsburg said in a question-and-answer session at a meeting of the Jewish Federations of North America in a Washington ballroom.

Ginsburg had criticized Trump in interviews last summer with The Associated Press and other news organizations, saying she did not want to consider the possibility that Trump could be elected. She apologized for her remarks soon thereafter. …

How about Judge Roy Moore? He’d be great!!!

Will be 72 years old in 2 months. We need someone considerably younger than that.

Liberal and Socialist minds will implode, if Judge Roy Moore is nominated. The firestorm will be magnificent to see.

No, 72 years old in 2 more months. I want a young conservative in that seat. Possibly for forty years.

Judge Moore would be a perfect choice!

72 years old in two more months. How about a conservative who is 40? he/she could serve for 4 decades.

I thought she was announcing her own soon-to-be retirement. Can she hang on until she’s 87?

Yes I do. Hey, Reagan picked Sandra Day O’Connor.

I would suggest his advisors really let him down there, but the SCOTUS is an unusual place. People go there and behave differently than they did in other court settings.

You don’t always know what you’re going to get. You hope you’re lucky.

On paper Roberts seemed to look good. And then...

“It’s a tax Lucy!” Idiot. (not you)

She screwed the Left.

Yep, she had eight years to make way for her replacement.

Who do you think will keel over first, she or Hillary?

I saw her at the opening performance of the Washington National Opera season in DC in 2009 (at the time of the 9-11 marches.) She looked in her element at the hoity-toity affair. Credit her love of fawning adulation, not wanting to retire during Obama’s eight years, for giving us the opportunity to replace her.

Hopefully Trump will pack the SC with as many young conservatives as possible.

Probably caused her great grief to have to admit it and to recognize that Trump will be President.

Why isn’t she announcing her retirement? She said she’d quit if Trump got elected.
