I honestly don’t know. He was seriously dedicated to his belief that aliens lived among us with the full knowledge of the US government.

There were some who did not like his inclusion of his religious philosophy in that it accused some religious leaders of cooperation with evil entities.

Regardless of some of his long posts, he was, at times, very willing to debate with manners and no personal attacks.

But there were other times when he got off on a tangent and the mods shut him down.

Yes, before the election Carter promised a reporter that he would reveal the truth about UFO’s if elected. Some months after the election the same reporter reminded Carter of his promise. Carter’s response? “I’m sorry but that impacts on national security!”.

My guess is that Hillary, since she mentioned national security as way out of keeping her promise, remembers the Carter incident.
