Jason Chaffetz: We Aren't Done With Hillary Yet
Town Hall ^ | 11/16/16 | Katie Pavlich

President-elect Donald Trump indicated in an interview with 60-Minutes last weekend that he may be done pursuing the Clintons, backing off campaign statements that the former Secretary of State should be in jail.

"She did some bad things, I mean she did some bad things," Trump said. "They’re good people. I don't want to hurt them."

But although Trump might be done with the Clintons, House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz is not, telling Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson Tuesday investigations into Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server and pay-to-play allegations between the State Department and Clinton Foundation will continue.

He is going to be an open and honest President and let the NEW FBI Director and the NEW USAG and the newly empaneled Grand Jury decide what to do with her and let the chips fall where they may.

I hope President Trump lets an independent prosecutor decide if crimes were committed (by the way, they were).

She Clinton team apparently violated federal election laws even before she announced her candidacy by organizing unannounced for far longer than the law allows.

I so want to watch the next couple of rounds of Jason Chaffetz’s Oversight Committee hearings

I have a sneaking suspicion that there is going to a whole new attitude of cooperation and humility on the part of the people coming to testify.

As long as the purple rent-a-mobs run free, she should be investigated. One day for everyone of those rats that get arrested.

Spot on comment and no special prosecutor.

No, she will soon be pardoned for all crimes she may have committed. Obama will take care of that before leaving office.

Trump should realize if the Dems had Congress, they’d have special prosecutors all over him for The Tape, Trump University, Russian “ties,” etc.

She was rejected by the American public. She will never be able to fulfill her dream of being Dictator in Chief. She is now the most miserable person on the planet. Every day she will hear the words “President Trump”. She has suffered enough. Let her go off to a South Pacific island with her favorite best friend and live out the rest of her life there.

Trump ought to appoint a special prosecutor and wash his hands of the matter.

Obama can only pardon for federal crimes of the past regardless of indictment / conviction or not.

State level and future crimes are untouchable by Obama.

It’s very likely that Obama himself is implicated in the “missing” 33,000 Hillary server emails, and the new 650,000 Weiner emails.

He would place himself in legal jeopardy if he pardons Hillary. And he cannot pardon himself.

We need to get the Supreme Court finished before going after Hillary. Afterwards prosecute with extreme prejudice.
