“sites, like “Breitbart”, for example, acting under the guise of free press, ... torpedo democracy
with falsehoods and agitation.”

Max, there is no “guise of free press”: either there IS a free press or there is NOT a free press. I see MULTIPLE falsehoods and agitation on a daily basis from WaPo, NYT, ABC, CBS, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, LA Times, Salon, Slate, Vox, New York Daily News, Boston Globe, AP, McClatchy and all the rest. It sounds to me that you would have to ban all of the above under your “guise of free press” theory. Or is it just that you want to ban the Brietbart’s of the world because you disagree with what they publish? I thought so. Autocrats like yourself everywhere wish to ban everyone with whom they disagree, under the “guise of free speech”, naturally.

MSM falsehoods and agitation:

*Gore Bull warming alarmism.

**BLM / exaggerated reports of police brutality.

***Phony stories of Tea Party / Trump supporters' violence at rallies.

****Phony rape stories (Rolling Stone, anyone?)

*****Alinsky tactics (countless examples).

Bottom Line: STFU Obambi, you freaking hypocritical communitarian collectivist agitator.
