Not good. Flynn has lobbied for interests in Turkey and is too close to Erdogan in Turkey - the man who is taking Turkey from decades of secularism to Islamism. The Turks have allowed ISIS fighters to cross their borders to fight Assad. When it is all over they will fight ISIS to clean them out but Turkey wants to control Syria and crush the Kurds. Erdogan is no friend to the US.

Yeah, that recent op-ed by Flynn was just bizarre. I don’t see Flynn staying out of trouble long in a Trump admin but Trump obviously values his loyalty. He was one of the first beltway types to get on the Trump train.
Somebody like Flynn makes a bit of sense if Trump is going to have a more hawkish Sec. of State. But based on his history I just don’t think he is the guy. Too flaky.
