Swedish PM still waiting for Trump phone call

Donald Trump has yet to arrange to speak with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, despite the Swedish leader sending him a congratulatory letter and the US President-elect already calling Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen.

“We have sent a letter of congratulations of course, and then the Government Offices made contact with the (US) transition team,” Löfven explained in comments reported by Swedish news agency TT.

Trump’s transition team has released a list of the heads of government and top politicians he has spoken with. The 29 names include European leaders like Italian PM Matteo Renzi, British PM Theresa May, and Denmark’s Rasmussen. …

And here I thought the election of Trump was supposed to be so egregious that foreign leaders would shun us. If you listen to the liberal media at all, the election of Trump is inexplicable (no doubt due to forces that descended from Alpha Centauri for this purpose) and intolerable to the entire rest of the world.

It seems that is not the case.

I’m sure Trump has a lot of heads of state to call; it takes time, he’ll get to Sweden eventually.

Could be for a darn good reason that Sweden is a bit on the outs and Trump wants to send a message. I suspect this guy will get his call and will remember for a long time that it came a little later than he expected.

Does anybody have any insight into Denmark vs. Sweden vs. Trump politics? If so they should enlighten us. It might tell us something about how Trump thinks. (Yes we know a lot but the fire hose is being turned on as we speak.)

The world must understand that Trump,like Santa,has a list of who's been naughty and nice.Those who've been nice get nice gifts,those who've been naughty get a lump of coal (dirty coal,the kind that causes sea levels to rise).IIRC Sweden hasn't been a particularly enthusiastic supporter of Western values...security...peace and stability in recent years.Sweden has,OTOH,become the rape capital of Europe...which isn't a good sign.
