Ford says Lincoln MKC production will stay in Kentucky, not move to Mexico. (Debunk the lie)

“DETROIT — Ford Motor Co. had considered moving production of the Lincoln MKC to Mexico, but instead the compact premium crossover will remain at the Louisville Assembly Plant, the automaker confirmed Thursday night.

Ford spokeswoman Christin Baker said the Cuautitlan plant was the “likely” new plant for the MKC when the automaker’s deal with the UAW expires in 2019.

But now the automaker plans to build the next generation of the MKC in Louisville, Kelli Felker, Ford’s global manufacturing and labor communications manager told Automotive News late Thursday.”

If the managers at Ford, GM, Chrysler, Jeep, etc. cannot afford to make automobiles in the USA, they should fire themselves and let the Japanese and Koreans manager their plants.

I’m sure Mr. Trump has explained to his friend Bill Ford, exactly how his position in Kentucky is about to improve.

I’m not defending the media, but...

When Trump brought up Ford during his rallies, he was always talking about small car production moving to Mexico. The assembly line in Kentucky was never mentioned.

Trump needs to go after Ford to keep small car production here or slap on the 35 percent tariff.

In some ways, this announcement seems like a head-fake.

My wife also has an MKT with twin turbos.

Blows away a lot of those snooty Volvos and BMW’s away especially up here in Colorado.

The MKC does seem like a bucket of bolts in terms of ride compared to the MKT. But they are nice beside that.

And the union members at this site should thank Mr. Trump too. It certainly wasn’t their union leaders that saved their jobs.

Maybe it is a head fake. Tweet something about Ford. Media says it’s a lie. Ford the next day confirms. Media looks like liars.

Regular, non rally going Trump supporters won’t make the distinction.

Give the rest of it time.

Actually Ford was planning on moving to Mexico with that plant. Then during the campaign, PE Trump made his statement about Ford. Then Ford came out a while back and stated they were going to wait until the election was over to make their decision.

So it is obvious as the nose on Democrat faces that PE Trump’s election resulted in the Ford Company remaining in the good old USA.

As satisfying as a trade war with China might be to some it is not necessary. Unless you count cheap energy, low taxes, and a light regulatory touch as a trade war.

I still credit Ford for not joining the obama motor group (OMG) as did GM and Chrysler when comrade obama was laying waste to the county a few years back.

Trump did not talk about the Kentucky plant at all, if I recall.

Me too. I bought my Ford Edge right after obama bailed out G.M. Won’t buy another Chevy. Ford refused the bailout.

Conerning the “lie”;

The George Soros’ bunch and their army of online trolls are trying to say that this is not true. They are hopping on the internet and saying that all this is untrue. Their excuses vary from [1] Ford never intended on moving the plant in the first place, [2] no official announcement was ever made, to [3] the decision to keep the plant was made when it was believed that Hillary Clinton would become President.

I saw that Muslims and illegals were planning on moving to the USA to get free Hillary health care and that Ford and was moving factories to Mexico .

But then I fell asleep and had a dream that a great man became President of the USA and Apple started to make the iphone in the USA again and Ford built cars in the USA and all the U.S. companies moved back to the USA to re-industrialize this country and that they all started surrendering to him even before he was inaugurated .

Then I woke up and I realized it wasn't a dream it really is happening Trump is making America Great Again and saving American form Islamization (saving Western civilization)!

This is going to be the best Thanksgiving ever and I will stand up at the Thanks giving dinner and I will give a speech saying this and also giving thanks for Trump !

I'm so ecstatic and so pumped and never been happier .Thank you Mr. Donald J. Trump , president elect! MAGA!
