How does a piece of bacon rolled up in a cinnamon roll even have a chance to cook at 375 for nine minutes?

That was my thought as well. The bacon would still be raw.

You could nuke the bacon for 3 minutes so it is cooked (and most fat rendered) but still pliable before wrapping it in the roll. Not saying that is what he meant, but it would work and make the bacon safe.
